During what felt like endless days of summer, as a youth I would finish sketchbooks within a few weeks of acquiring them. As the years past, it felt as though those days were long gone. I would buy or be gifted sketchbooks and very few of them had sketches and drawings to the end of its pages. Years would pass and those half finished books stayed that way, I would draw less and less. Happiness diminished.
I felt it was time to change that. I needed to start finishing these doomed books but what to draw? My hands have become picky and stubborn, it was time to just do whatever they felt like drawing. Even if what they drew seemed like nothing, representing no one.
In an effort of just following what my hands wanted to do, I decided to showcase whatever was produced. Without much to work from, I figured a modern twist to a curated gallery would be best. Here, a digital gallery in wich you the viewer can take your time looking over the work. Someday it may make it to a larger scale and or to a real life gallery but for now, perusing from the comfort of your home seemed like the best bet. Please enjoy "Finish This".
Sketches are scanned in high resolution and cleaned up in Adobe Photoshop.
